Bears at Giants Odds, Prediction For Week 4

Both 2-1, but dealing with struggling quarterbacks

Bears at Giants Preview

The Giants were given their first loss of the season, 23-16, on Monday night by the Cowboys, while the Bears beat the Texans, 23-20 in Week 3.

Neither offense averages even 19 points a game, which is why we have one of the lowest totals of the weekend in this game.

Chicago Bears

The positive side of things for the Bears is obviously their record at 2-1. The negative side, though, clearly starts with quarterback Justin Fields, who went just 8-for-17 for 106 yards and two picks against the Texans. He has two touchdowns and four interceptions on the year with a QB rating of just 50, which is not ideal to say the least.

Chicago is also 3-6-1 ATS in its last 10 games.

New York Giants

Saquon Barkley's resurgence has been a big reason for the Giants' 2-1 start, now second in the NFL in rushing yards (317), and the favorite to win Comeback Player of the Year (+350 on FanDuel).

This is the best record the Giants have had since 2016, which says a lot given how long they've sat under .500 the last few years, and new head coach Brian Daboll has this team trending in the right direction.

Against the Cowboys on Monday night, though, New York gave up 176 rushing yards at 5.9 yards a carry, while Daniel Jones failed to hit 200 passing yards, and threw the game-sealing interception, finishing with a passer rating under 60.

The Giants are also 2-6 ATS in their last eight games.

Bears at Giants Prediction: Giants -3.5

The way Fields has been playing is alarming, and that's something the Giants can exploit. Running back David Montgomery is also dealing with a leg injury, adding another wrinkle to this messy offensive situation in Chicago.
