Dan Karpuc: Creighton +7 at Texas

Creighton checks into this game with a 6-1 overall record (5-2 ATS) and is coming off their lone loss of the season against an uber-talented Arizona squad (81-79). Under Gregg McDermott, Creighton has gone 75-37 ATS after playing a game as an underdog and 19-6 ATS versus teams that average 9 or more steals per game, so both of those trends are elite.

Our model simulated this game 10,000 times and in those sims, Creighton turned the ball over an average of 11.6 times versus 15.5 for Texas, which is also a great sign. This is Coach McDermott’s most talented team ever at Creighton and I expect Ryan Kalkbrenner, Ryan Nembhard, Arthur Kaluma, Baylor Scheierman and Trey Alexander to keep this game very close in Longhorns country.

Lucy Burdge: Kansas -9 vs. Seton Hall

Kansas just covered a 25.5-point spread as the favorite and Seton Hall has failed to cover their last two spreads, so I like Kansas to cover this one tonight. And a trend in favor of Kansas is Bill Self is 86-50 ATS when playing only the third game in a week while coaching Kansas. Kansas has won seven of their last eight games and they’re allowing less than 65 points per game at home, so I like them to cover this spread against Seton Hall tonight.

Kate Constable: Washington at Oregon State Over 132.5

Washington and Oregon State open Pac-12 play on Wednesday in Corvallis and I expect this to be a high scoring game. The Huskies are averaging just over 70 points per game and are coming off a win against Seattle in which they shot 50% from the field and hit 10 threes. It’s likely Washington’s offense finds similar success tonight against the Beavers who have given up more than 80 points in each of their last two games. And even thought Oregon State’s offense hasn’t been great this season, they’re still averaging 67 points per game. I also like the fact that they’re back at home after the Phill Knight Legacy tournament, because when offenses are struggling, playing on your home floor is often a way to get things back on track. Expect a high-scoring affair in this one.
